Frazer & Jones ADI is particularly suitable for these applications. Frazer & Jones ADI is an austempered ductile iron that offers a unique combination of toughness and wear resistance.
Strengths of over 1500MPa can be developed that are equal to that of high tensile steels. Frazer & Jones cast iron, has excellent machinability, vibration, and noise damping capacity, 10% weight reduction and high wear resistance due to the self-lubricating network of graphite.
